Lachman's test
One hand secures and stabilizes the distal femur while the other firmly grasps the proximal tibia. The knee is flexed to 30 degrees. A gentle anterior translation force is applied to the proximal tibia, stressing the ACL. Grade the motion based on the amount of anterior translation :-
The examiner assesses for a firm/solid or soft endpoint.
